How are chargebacks/disputes calculated?

Chargebacks are only included in the Dashbaord, Order Breakdown, and Graph Breakdown reports.


When are they included?

Initially, chargebacks are included on the day they are created.


How are pending/open chargebacks included?

They are included on the day the funds are deducted. This also included the chargeback fee.  These are included as an expense item and decrease overall profit.


What happens if a chargeback is lost?

No change to profit. The chargeback amount is included on the day it was created.


What happens when a chargeback is won?

A won back amount is included in the analytics. This is an offsetting amount included in the chargeback/disputes total. Increasing overall profit.
