If I create a new refund in Shopify, what happens to the product costs (COGS)?

By default, the product costs will also be "decreased" as it is assumed the product is returned and can be sent out again. That being said, there is a setting to have this not happen on this page here

The settings is called "COGS are not decreased on refund"
